“Mammoth Rocks Day Hike”- Find out if Woolly Mammoths walked the Sonoma Coast! See evidence of their rubbings.

A flat and easy walk along the Kortum Trail from Shell Beach to Mammoth Rocks. Learn how these smooth rocks were the rubbing sites of giant mammoths over 10,000 years ago.

Details: Dress in waterproof layers for winter coastal weather, bring a bag lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Meeting Place: Shell Beach Parking Area no later than 8:45am. All participants must sign the waiver form on arrival.

All Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
