Summary

Join Coastwalk for our FREE family walk series along the Sonoma Coast focused on learning about our variety of treasured coastal resources.

GUIDED BY:

Peter Leveque: renowned biologist, SRJC instructor of 35 years with the Life Sciences Department, and volunteer naturalist trail guide for Sonoma County environmental non-profits.

Cea Higgins: Executive Director of Coastwalk, Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Council, & Marine Debris Educator.

June 8th (8:30 a.m.-12): “Bodega Bay Mudflats”-Come meet us at Doran Park and walk the flats to meet the mud critters of Bodega Bay-clams, worms, shrimp, snails & more.

Details: Dress in waterproof layers for winter coastal weather, bring a bag lunch and a reusable water bottle. Bring your waterproof shoes or boots!

Meeting Place: Doran Beach Regional Park-Jetty Day Use Parking Area (all the way at the end of the Park) no later than 8:45am. All participants must pre-register and sign a waiver form on arrival.

All Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
