Join Coastwalk for our FREE family walk series along the Sonoma Coast focused on learning about our variety of treasured coastal resources.
GUIDED BY:

Peter Leveque: renowned biologist, SRJC instructor of 35 years with the Life Sciences Department, and volunteer naturalist trail guide for Sonoma County environmental non-profits.

Cea Higgins: Executive Director of Coastwalk, Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary Council, & Marine Debris Educator.

March 9th (9 a.m.-12): “Sandy Shore Inhabitants”- Rain Date March 23rd

Beach-comb with us along South Salmon Creek Beach and learn about the beach hopper, mole crabs, and many more organisms while strolling along this beautiful sandy beach.

Details: Dress in waterproof layers for winter coastal weather, bring a bag lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Meeting Place: South Salmon Creek Parking Area at end of Bean Avenue no later than 8:45am. All participants must pre-register and sign a waiver form on arrival.

All Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
